Musicfest NW 2010

There's a whole lot of great stuff going on here.

You've got The Decemberists and The National each playing a day at Pioneer Courthouse Square in the center of downtown Portland. Panda Bear and Man Man are both coming out of the woodwork to present us with songs from their upcoming albums. Not to mention Menomena, The Thermals, Suckers, Okkervil River, Rocky Votolato, Akron/Family, and The Walkmen!

Sept. 08 - Panda Bear with guests @ The Crystal Ballroom

Sept. 09 - The Thermals with guests @ The Crystal Ballroom

Sept. 10 - Man Man with guests (venue still not confirmed)

Sept. 11 - The Decemberists @ Pioneer Square
Sept. 11 - Menomena & Akron/Family @ The Crystal Ballroom

I'm probably most excited to see MAN MAN, who are just recently reemerging and hitting the road with some new songs off their new album which is still in the making.
Here's hoping the play Dante's or Wonder Ballroom!

SET TIMES!

Here's a version I made that I find more easy to view.

I'm going to print these out for myself and laminate them.
That's what we did with this year's Coachella set times and they were
nice to have in the meantime as well as at the campgrounds and in the car
on the way there.

Adam Green

I've been a fan of Adam Green since high school and this was the first chance I've got to see him live. He played a great set, and I got to meet him after the show. I told him that I've been a fan for a long time and that I thought he does brilliant work. Then he gave me a hug! Such a great guy and a true artist and entertainer.
